Having just recently expanded to a new city, Home Painters Ottawa doesn’t currently have any local television or media appearances of its own. That being said, we’d like to direct you to those of Home Painters Toronto, and hope to have our own soon enough!
HGTV’s Custom Built with Paul LaFrance
Over the years Paul LaFrance has made a name for himself as one of HGTV’s most creative personalities. Custom Built capitalizes on that brand, and we were thrilled to be able to join him and other professional in creating one-of-a-kind rooms. As Season 2’s exclusive painting contractors we were often the last in to finish a project. Armed with the knowledge that a custom built space absolutely needs a custom paint job we were confident in our abilities to get the job done.
HGTV’s Holmes on Homes
We were also given the opportunity to work on Holmes on Homes as early as its second season. It was particularly exciting for us as long-time fans of Mike Holmes and all he stands for in the industry. His motto of “if you’re going to do something, do it right the first time” really resonates with us, and it’s the reason we felt comfortable participating in the Holmes Referred program back when it was still running.
House & Home Magazine
The display rooms in House & Home magazine are what people flip through to see the best that a home can actually look. As a result helping them create some of these spaces was a true test of our level of expertise, and we can say with confidence that we delivered. Of the projects that we’ve done one we’re particularly proud of is a young boy’s bedroom, which we painted to have a two-tone colour effect. This fun and playful paint job looked good, and helped exemplify our purpose of “Painting Homeowners’ Dreams”, regardless of who they are.
CityTV’s Breakfast Television’s 48-Hour Makeover
Breakfast Television’s 48-Hour Makeovers are those rare projects in which we can’t take our time. That said, we still had a reputation to uphold, and needed to show that we weren’t just some contractor that was going to run in, slop some paint on the walls, and run out with hours left to spare. Instead we were more often than not painting right down to the end of the time limit, but also with the care and professionalism to leave behind a beautiful, long-lasting job.
